Sodium tripolyphosphate

White powder, specific gravity 2.484 (20 degrees), easily soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvents, strong hygroscopicity, gradually absorbs water in the air to become sticky, can form soluble chelates with Ca, Ba, Mg, Cu, Fe and other metal ions, and is an excellent water treatment agent.

Phosphoric acid

Colorless and transparent viscous liquid or rhombic crystal, odorless, very sour taste, melting point 42.35℃, heated to 300℃ becomes metaphosphoric acid, 85% phosphoric acid relative density 1.834, easily soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, can stimulate the skin causing dermatitis, destroy body tissue, has a corrosive effect when heated in porcelain, is hygroscopic.

Sodium tripolyphosphate

White powder, melting point 622℃, easily soluble in water, has a significant integrating capacity for calcium, magnesium and other metal ions, can soften hard water, turn suspension into solution, has weak alkalinity, is non-corrosive, is an inorganic surfactant, and has a strong emulsifying effect on lubricating oil and fat.

Calcium formate

Appearance: white crystals or powder. Physical properties: slightly hygroscopic, slightly bitter taste, non-toxic, soluble in water, neutral aqueous solution. It has antibacterial, antifungal, and acidifying effects.

Red phosphorus

It is a purplish-red amorphous powder, lustrous and non-toxic. Under high pressure, it begins to melt at 590℃. If not pressurized, it does not melt but sublimates; after vaporization and condensation, white phosphorus is obtained. Red phosphorus has a high polymer structure formed by single bonds of P4 tetrahedrons forming chains or rings, and has high stability. It is insoluble in water and carbon disulfide, slightly soluble in absolute ethanol, and soluble in alkaline solutions. It reacts with nitric acid to form phosphoric acid, and when heated in chlorine gas, it forms chlorides.
